The unique dual wavelength of HALO delivers an unprecedented ability to customize treatments for each individual.  Every patient has different needs in terms of skin type, sun damage and their ability to tolerate downtime.  With Halo, both the ablative and non-ablative wavelengths can be adjusted and dialed in precisely to deliver the exact treatment that each patient needs for amazing results.

Halo provides an unmatched patient experience in the world of laser resurfacing.  Superior results with less downtime.

Here’s how:

Before HALO™, lasers were either ablative – which removes the outermost layers of skin which are effective at improving skin texture and tone, but not ideal for anti-aging concerns—or non-ablative, which treats wrinkles and acne scarring with effective, but milder results and requires a series of treatments for the best outcome. Halo™ combines the benefits of each for a truly unique laser skin resurfacing treatment.

Just one HALO treatment will:

  • Brighten and smooth your complexion
  • Improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles
  • Reduce pore size
  • Improve scars/acne scars
  • Reverse the effects of sun damage by removing these surface cells
  • Remove hyperpigmentation

Take decades off your skin!

Our team of Board-certified Dermatologists have the ability to truly customize your HALO treatment for stunning results.

What should I expect during the treatment?

Expect the feeling of warmth during and immediately after treatment.  The actual treatment has been said to feel like a rubber band snap. We will apply numbing cream to desensitize the treated area.   The area may be extremely warm for 1-2 hours after the treatment.

What is the downtime?

Redness is normal and expected.  Redness generally increases in intensity for the first few days after the treatment with day 3 usually being the most intense. Redness can persist for up to 7 days depending on the intensity of the treatment.

MENDS (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris) will appear on the 2nd or 3rd day after treatment as tiny dark spots and bronzed appearance to the treated skin.  MENDs are part of the healing process where treated tissue is working its way out of your body as new fresh skin is regenerated,  During this time, your skin will be very dry.  We’ll provide post care instructions on what products to use.

What’s the difference between HALO™ and Clear & Brilliant™?

We consider Clear & Brilliant to be a “baby Halo” treatment.  It uses a single non-ablative laser, as opposed to HALO’s dual ablative and non-ablative wavelengths.  Clear & Brilliant offers beautiful results using a more gentle laser on skin with less damage or for women/men in their 20’s and 30’s.

How long will it take to see results?

A Halo treatment will restore your skin’s youthful lustre and give you a radiant appearance. Your skin will be smoother with a healthy glow. Many patients experience noticeable improvements after just 7 days and are extremely happy with their results in three weeks . As new skin emerges your skin will continue to improve for several months.
