What is Juvederm®?

This dermal filler is specially formulated with hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring sugar in the body responsible for giving the skin its signature youthful plump. Patients typically use Juvederm® to treat:

What Can I Expect During my Juvederm® Treatment?
Each of your Juvederm® treatments will be performed in our state-of-the-art medical facility by Dr. Sarah Dolder or one of our other expert staff members. Before your Juvederm® treatment begins, a topical anesthetic may be applied to the treatment area, typically around the mid- to lower face. Once you are numb and relaxed, a series of Juvederm® injections will be carefully and strategically made to your treatment area. The entire treatment process generally takes less than an hour to complete.
What Results Can I Expect from Juvederm®?
Because Juvederm® is minimally invasive, there is no downtime or recovery period associated with each treatment. Most patients are able to return to their normal daily activities, including work, immediately following their Juvederm® appointment. While you may see some results of your Juvederm® treatment immediately, ultimate results will become visible in about five to seven days when all swelling subsides. The results of your Juvederm® treatment may last anywhere between nine and 18 months. Dr. Dolder and her team may recommend yearly treatments to maintain your desired results.
