The latest in laser technology that combines age prevention and correction.
Introducing MOXI, Greenwich Point Dermatology’s newest and most cutting-edge laser designed to prevent and correct the signs of skin aging, delivered with minimal downtime in a series of easy treatments.
If you are looking to maintain beautiful skin- MOXI is your new go-to treatment. The MOXI laser is ideal for patients interested in “prejuvenation” treatments designed to prevent the early signs of aging from becoming more pronounced. If you have melasma, pigmentation and stubborn sun spots, MOXI is your new best friend! In as little as 3-6 treatments, your pigmentation issues will be gone. And if you simply want to give your collagen a work out and keep your youthful glow, MOXI will do just that.
Moxi comfortably delivers non-ablative laser energy to correct the initial signs of sun damage and aging—no matter the season or skin type—for a glowing and clear complexion.
A Moxi Laser treatment will:
- Resurface hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone
- Address texture, pore size, fine lines, acne scars
- Brighten, refresh and rejuvenate weathered skin
How does MOXI rejuvenate the skin?
MOXI uses the latest technology in targeting the epidermis of the skin to create fine channels of non-ablative energy, which stimulate the renewal process of your skin’s own healing powers. In addition to removing pigmentation and repairing skin damage, this treatment also stimulates new collagen production and speeds up cell turnover, thereby maintaining skin elasticity and its youthful appearance.
What areas can MOXI treat?
What should I expect during a Moxi Laser treatment?
Your skin will be cleaned and topical anesthesia will be applied for 30 minutes. The eyes will be protected with goggles and the hand piece will be applied to the skin surface in a defined pattern so treatment is uniform and consistent. Usually the treatment lasts for around 15-20 minutes depending on the area being treated.
How long will it take to see results from Moxi?
For correction: 3-6 treatments are recommended, performed 3-4 weeks apart
For prevention: 1 treatment every quarter!
What is the downtime for Moxi Laser Rejuvenation?
For the day following your treatment, your skin may appear red and, depending on your level of treatment, you may see the small micro dots called “MENDS” where the laser was applied. As the micro zones heal, they will darken and feel rough. Between days 3-5, the mends will slough off, revealing the renewed skin beneath.
Can I combine Moxi with other laser treatments?
Yes! Combining cosmetic treatments is an excellent way to maximize the effectiveness and results. For optimal skin rejuvenation and stunning results, we recommend combining Moxi with Halo, a dual wavelength laser that targets both surface and subdermal layers of the skin. Its role in our combination protocol is to repair deep sun damage, stimulate collagen growth to improve the skin’s texture and tone, and minimize fine lines and wrinkles.
