What is Vollure™?
Vollure™ is a minimally invasive dermal filler treatment that is specially formulated to fill in laugh lines or smile lines that appear from the outer corners of the nose to the outer corners of the mouth. These lines, also known as parentheses or nasolabial folds, can often get in the way of our patient’s natural facial features. Vollure™ is a unique addition to the Juvederm® family that can fill in laugh lines for up to 18 months, giving our patients peace of mind when they’re putting on makeup, out with their friends, or taking pictures with loved ones.
What Can I Expect During my Vollure™ Treatment?
Each of your Vollure™ treatments will be performed in our state-of-the-art medical facility by Dr. Sarah Dolder or one of our other medical professionals. Before your Vollure™ treatment begins, a topical anesthetic may be applied to the treatment area, typically around the nose and mouth. Once you are numb and completely relaxed, a series of Vollure™ injections will carefully and strategically be made into your treatment area. Your entire treatment process should take less than an hour to complete.
What Results Can I Expect from Vollure™?
Vollure™ is a minimally invasive treatment that does not require any downtime or recovery period. Most patients report returning to their normal daily activities, including work, immediately following their treatment. While some results of your Vollure™ treatment will be visible immediately, ultimate results will appear in three to seven days of treatment once all swelling subsides. Results have the potential to last up to 18 months, however, Dr. Dolder and her team may recommend regularly scheduled annual treatments to maintain your desired results.
